Leasing Products

Personal Contract Hire (PCH) is an agreement regarding a lease between an individual and a finance company. If an individual successfully passes the necessary credit checks, then the lease can go forward. Our leasing contracts feature the following:

  • Fixed prices:  you know what your payments will be each month, with no extra hidden charges or fees
  • Agreed length of contract
  • No large deposit
  • No outstanding obligations once the car has been returned upon termination of lease
  • Choice between a fully maintained or non-maintained contract

Business Contract Hire (BCH) is a credit agreement between any trading business (sole trader, LLP, Ltd or PLC) and a finance company. A business may want this type of lease since:

  • VAT relief of 50% on monthly rentals
  • Cheaper than a loan or hire contract
  • No market value risk of the vehicle upon end of lease

A Finance Lease is available to business users only and offers a flexible alternative to contract hire. This type of contract is typically taken over a longer period of time, with built in flexibility allowing the business to come out of the contract at any time. By allowing the customer to dispose of their vehicle(s) at their convenience, it removes the leasing company from the disposal process and thus reduces the overheads built into the lease for logistics, refurbishment, storage, auction fees, etc. This type of lease features:

  • VAT relief of 50% on monthly rentals
  • Lower monthly rental costs
  • Flexible contracts: after one year, customers can choose when they terminate the contract at any time
  • Possible equity releases: the proceeds from the sale of the vehicle will be offset against the contract termination charge. Once the termination charge is deducted from the sales proceeds, the surplus is passed back on to the customer
  • No excess mileage charges

Fleet Management Made Simple

Fleet Management Made Simple (FMMS) is our in-house built platform designed to assist with the day to day running of a fleet. The system is personalised for each customer in order to achieve a bespoke service. It allows all fleet related information and costs to be stored in one area with easy access to historic data, for both active and de-fleeted vehicles, grey fleet and the related driver information. 

FMMS features a flag warning system in order to prompt system users where attention is required. There is also a user friendly reporting suite that provides an overview of the expenditure relating to repairs, maintenance and fines alongside a detailed P11d report and an area to manage the fleet mileage that can prompt areas of concern, all of which can easily be exported from the system.

LCV Customisation

This customisation is completed before the vehicle is delivered to you so that it is ready for use as soon as your contract begins. This saves time and money for our customers by not having the vehicle off the road after it has been delivered.

Vehicle Rental: Car & Commercial Vehicles

We can provide customers with short or long term vehicle rental on a range of cars, prestige vehicles, light commercial and HGV vehicles, along with specialist vehicles. Our rental service is unique due to the fact these vehicles can be ready for the customer within 2 hours of request - minimising vehicle-off-road time.

Fuel Card & Fuel Services

Our fuel card management system allows you to take control of your fuel card account 24/7 through a telematics system. As a firm it can save time and money since the system provides a complete list of all the cards and their individual details, including:

  • Site locator: quick and easy search to find where you can use your cards
  • Live cards
  • Stopped Cards
  • Vehicle registration and driver's name
  • Expiry date

Grey Fleet: what it is and why it matters 

‘Grey fleet’ is the term used to describe any vehicles that do not belong to a company, but which are used for business travel. When they are driven for company business, often in return for a cash allowance or fuel expense, these vehicles then become considered part of the ‘Grey fleet’ – and as such fall under the responsibility of the employer.

Employers and employees have a responsibility to ensure that others are not put at risk during any work-related driving . Grey fleets are subject to the same health and safety controls as any company fleet. In practice, this means you have the same legal duty of care for grey fleet drivers as you would for those in a work supplied vehicle. What’s more, corporate manslaughter laws mean that the onus of having to prove your organisation has fulfilled its legal obligations following an incident can be a considerable burden.
